We're looking for an Administration Assistant to join our team based in Tebay. This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support to the project team and senior management.

Location: Tebay – office based 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per year + benefits
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Administration Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of office reception, multiple meeting rooms and the administration within the project. We're looking for someone with an enthusiastic approach who enjoys working in a collaborative, growing and changing environment. Your day to day will include:

  • Managing multiple Outlook and Teams calendars for the senior management team and meeting rooms
  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring all safety procedures are followed
  • Co-ordinating all office and facilities requirements including access passes, ordering office items and updating vehicle access
  • Facilitating project internal communications for upcoming matters and events
  • Managing stores, car charging, visitor PPE and other functional aspects of site as required

  • Thrives in a busy, fast-paced office environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative team that supports essential business operations
  • Has excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate activities and keep things running smoothly
  • Is confident using a range of IT systems and Microsoft Office applications, with strong administrative and data management skills
  • Communicates effectively with colleagues, customers and stakeholders, backed by a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Enjoys building positive relationships and working collaboratively to find practical solutions and provide excellent administrative support
