Project Manager

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Kier Workplace Solutions team based in UK/Hybrid Working.

Location: UK/Hybrid Working
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 – 17:00

We're seeking an experienced and competent Project Manager to work within our Kier Places/Workplace Solutions business. You'll take responsibility for the safe, compliant and commercially controlled delivery of project works across a varied portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects from initial scope development through to handover, working with clients, designers, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver excellence across every stage.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Project Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Workplace Solutions team, supporting them in delivering safe, compliant and commercially controlled project works. Your day to day will include:

• Leading day-to-day management of allocated projects, ensuring clear scope, programme, budget and governance before works commence
• Managing safety as the number one priority, applying Kier Golden Rules, site inductions, inspections and ensuring prompt close-out of actions
• Maintaining robust programme control, including short-term lookaheads, key milestones and coordination with clients and stakeholders
• Managing subcontractor performance through competence checks, RAMS review, site monitoring and quality checks
• Maintaining accurate project records and providing clear reporting on safety, programme, quality, cost and risk

What are we looking for?

This role of Project Manager is great for you if:

• You hold SMSTS, CSCS and IOSH Managing Safely, or demonstrable equivalent competence appropriate to the role
• You have strong working knowledge of CDM 2015, Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, permits and project-specific risk management
• You have working knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Building Regulations duty holder roles and compliance requirements
• You have proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams, including competence checks, supervision and performance monitoring
• You hold a Full driving licence, as travel across the UK and attendance at client and site locations will be required
