We're looking for an Agent to join our KierBAM team based in Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Location: Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard
Hours: 42.5 hours per week

KierBAM are a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall. We are currently delivering an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth. We're seeking an experienced Agent to manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification, ensuring the assigned project is delivered safely, on time and to the required quality.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Agent, you'll be working within the KierBAM team, supporting them in delivering this important project in a live MOD facility. Your day to day will include:

• Programming works, managing commercial performance, and ensuring effective utilisation of resources to meet those programmes
• Taking full ownership and accountability for profit and loss in the project, ensuring robust control of target costs and actual costs
• Ensuring all works are delivered in accordance with the specification, with accurate recording of labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources
• Leading, supervising and mentoring your team members, whilst maintaining high personal standards in health and safety and environmental practices
• Communicating effectively at all levels including site management, technical specialists, commercial staff, planners, engineers, suppliers, and client representatives

What are we looking for?

This role of Agent is great for you if:

• You hold a relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree) and SSSTS/SMSTS certification
• You have demonstrable experience working with reinforced concrete and civils
• You're familiar with Leica Survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Optical & digital levels) for Setting Out & Survey
• You have proven people and project management skills, with the ability to lead technical teams and manage client interfaces effectively
• You're familiar with Quality Management Systems, writing RAMS, and have awareness of commercial processes
