We're recruiting an Apprentice Emerging Talent Coordinator for our Construction team, based at our Castle Donington office in Nottinghamshire. 
 
Location:  Castle Donington, Nottinghamshire

Hours: Full time 37.5hrs per week.

 

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

Emerging Talent is fundamental to the growth and success of Kier Construction, helping us develop the relevant skills and capabilities we need for the future. This is a really exciting opportunity to develop specialist knowledge and gain exposure to multiple areas including HR, recruitment and learning & development. Alongside your role, you'll be enrolled onto a level 3 HR support apprenticeship with Leep Talent.

 

What will you be responsible for?

As an Apprentice Emerging Talent Coordinator, you'll be working within the Emerging Talent team, supporting them in the development, implementation, and delivery of the Emerging Talent Programmes across the Construction business division. Your day to day will include:

  • Maintaining emerging talent data, ensuring accuracy and providing necessary reports
  • Supporting onboarding and engagement activities, including new starter communications and ongoing engagement initiatives
  • Assisting with apprenticeship programme activity, including training provider administration and progress monitoring
  • Supporting the successful delivery of Emerging Talent Events such as inductions, celebration events and conferences
  • Managing the Emerging Talent Teams Channel and Hub, coordinating access and communications

  • You have 4 GCSE's grade 4 or above including Math & English
  • You have a passion to develop a career in HR
  • You have a particular interest in supporting individuals early in their careers to thrive and grow
  • You bring fresh ideas and new perspectives on how to deliver the best possible experience
  • You're eager to be part of our emerging talent programmes whilst supporting us to deliver them
  • You're ready to develop specialist knowledge across HR, recruitment and learning & development
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
