Architectural Assistant
We're looking for an Architectural Assistant to join our Architectural team based in Liverpool.
Location: Liverpool
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
Salary: Starting form £25,000 per annum
Sector: Architecture and Building Solutions

As an Architectural Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality design work across a range of sectors, supporting projects from concept through to construction. Working closely with experienced professionals, you'll gain exposure to real-world project delivery while developing your technical and design skills in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Are you…
- Qualified with an Architecture Degree (RIBA Part 1 minimum / Part 2 preferred)
- Experienced using REVIT and BIM in a design environment
- A strong team player who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary environment
- Confident in your design ability with a solid technical understanding
- Up to date with industry standards, regulations and design trends
- Interested in sectors such as education, MMC/off-site, sustainability or conservation
Do you…
- Produce high-quality design drawings and models using CAD and BIM
- Support the development and coordination of design information
- Contribute to planning applications and regulatory submissions
- Evaluate environmental, legal and project risks
- Liaise with stakeholders and statutory authorities
- Assist with contract administration and occasional site visits

What will you be responsible for?
As an Architectural Assistant, you'll support the delivery of schemes within the Kier Design team, including:
- Supporting senior team members across all stages of design and construction
- Producing concept and detailed design drawings using CAD/BIM
- Contributing to technical coordination and project delivery
- Ensuring designs meet budget, programme and compliance requirements
- Participating in design risk assessments and project planning
- Supporting bids and work-winning activities where required
What are we looking for?
This role of Architectural Assistant is great for you if you:
- Are RIBA Part 1 / Part 2 qualified (or equivalent)
- Have strong in design with a solid technical foundation
- Are experienced using REVIT and BIM
- Are a collaborative team player
- Are up to date with industry standards
