Business Administration Apprentice

We're looking for an Apprentice Business Administrator to join our Brighton Library team based in Brighton, working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.

 

Location: Brighton 

Hours: 40 hours per week 

Salary: £20,800

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

 

How does an apprenticeship work?

As an Apprentice Business Administrator you'll be enrolled onto a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Administration, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the team to support the smooth running of contract administration at Brighton Library

Your day to day will include:

  • Managing the Work In Progress financial trackers
  • Raising Purchase orders
  • Reviewing and updating fixed and variable budget sheets
  • Maintain communication with the central Finance team to ensure accurate and complete financialinformation is reported.

 

What are we looking for?

The role of Apprentice Business Administrator for you if:

  • GCSE grades 9-4 (A*-C) in English and Maths, or equivalent
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and a determination to get things done
  • Good level of knowledge and experience in various MS Office programmes, including MS Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
