Cleaner

We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Oldham Library & Lifelong Learning Centre team based in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Location: Oldham Library, Cultural Quarter, Greaves Street, Oldham, Greater Manchester, OL1 1AL 
Hours: 10 hours per week (19:30 – 21:30)

What will you be responsible for?

As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in delivering outstanding cleaning services that ensure a safe, hygienic and pleasant environment for library users and staff. Your day to day will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining all areas including floors, surfaces, furniture, doors, mirrors and washroom facilities to the highest standards
• Emptying waste receptacles, disposing of rubbish correctly and replenishing consumables such as hand wash, toilet rolls and hand towels
• Following health and safety procedures including COSHH guidelines, colour-coding systems and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment and materials are properly maintained, stored securely and used in accordance with site procedures
• Working collaboratively with your supervisor and colleagues to maintain consistent service quality and address any cleaning priorities

• You're willing to complete induction training and develop your skills in professional cleaning practices
