Cleaner

We're looking for a Cleaner to join our facilities management team based in Rushden.

Location: Rushden
Hours: 10 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Kier Places are recruiting an enthusiastic, self-motivated Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team. You'll play an important role in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness standards, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for everyone. What will you be responsible for?

As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your day to day will include:

• Cleaning surfaces, floors, and bathrooms, ensuring all areas are kept tidy and hygienic
• Vacuuming carpeted areas and wet mopping hard floors
• Emptying waste receptacles and replenishing consumables such as hand wash, toilet rolls, and hand towels
• Following COSHH regulations and using colour-coded equipment to prevent cross contamination
• Reporting any maintenance or pest issues to your supervisor promptly

What are we looking for?

This role of Cleaner is great for you if:

• You have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a commercial building
• You have a solid understanding of health and safety at work legislation
• You can work to the highest cleaning standards and operate safely, including following COSHH guidelines
• You're able to prioritise high-risk areas and coordinate tasks effectively
• You're reliable, self-motivated, and enjoy working as part of a supportive team
