Delivery Manager
We're looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Area 3 & 4 Region team. As a Delivery Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering vital highway maintenance and infrastructure improvement projects across Areas 3 and 4 on the National Highways Maintenance and Response Contract. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects from inception to completion while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
Location: Area 3 & 4 Region
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30 - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: up to £55,000 per year + £5,900 annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits

What will you be responsible for?
As a Delivery Manager, you'll be working as part of the Scheme Delivery Team, you'll lead the safe, efficient and successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of schemes that improve transport networks, enhance road safety and provide lasting benefits to local communities. Your day to day will include:
- Leading the safe delivery of highway maintenance and infrastructure schemes, ensuring full compliance with health, safety and environmental standards
- Review Client provided Scope and CDM docs for suitability and content to allow pricing and correct planning of the works. Liaise with Client for improved documentation where needed
- Planning and Managing of works by bringing together the needs of client, supply chain, network team and community via creating the best plan for each scheme. Supporting and enhancing an effective ECI process
- Carry out booking and co-ordination of Road space with both National Highways and Local Authorities using their Roadspace booking systems. Gain TTRO's and co-ordinate agreement of diversion routes.
- Developing and maintaining programmes, reviewing technical documentation and ensuring quality requirements are achieved
- Managing project close-out activities, including final accounts, as-built records, handover documentation and health and safety files
What are we looking for?
This role of Delivery Manager is great if you have:
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, health, safety and environmental legislation within highways, civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Proven experience delivering highway maintenance schemes through the full project lifecycle and a strong knowledge of High speed Traffic Management systems required for this work
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across clients, operational teams and supply chain partners
- Good understanding of project planning, resource management, commercial considerations and NEC contract principles
- Industry-recognised qualifications such as SMSTS, alongside a full driving licence
