Contract Manager
We're looking for a Contract Manager to join our Building Solutions team based in Salisbury and Portsmouth.
Location: Salisbury and Portsmouth
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
We're seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our growing Building Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a secure environment, initially site-based to support team development, with the role evolving to account management as we expand our client partnerships. You'll play a key part in delivering projects valued up to £10m whilst building strong relationships with our strategic framework partners.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Contract Manager, you'll be working within the Building Solutions team, supporting them in delivering successful projects in secure environments. Your day to day will include:
- Leading and overseeing project delivery, achieving operational and commercial goals through effective management of project teams and stakeholders
- Managing projects from pre-commencement to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards
- Taking overall responsibility for implementing health and safety policies, ensuring all employees and subcontractors comply with relevant procedures
- Acting as the client's first point of contact, developing excellent working relationships and identifying ongoing opportunities
- Mentoring and supporting site teams, sharing knowledge and experience to help others develop their skills
What are we looking for?
This role of Contract Manager is great for you if:
- You have significant experience in leading delivery on construction projects, ideally within secure environments
- You hold a relevant construction qualification (HND/Degree level or equivalent) and professional memberships such as CIOB
- You possess expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions, with demonstrable experience managing project budgets and programmes
- You hold or are willing to obtain the necessary clearances (British Passport required, Enhanced DBS minimum, SC Clearance advantageous)
