Contracts Manager
We're looking for a Contracts Manager to join our (contract name) team based in (location).
Location: Falmer, remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 40 hours per week, some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?
As one of two Regional Contracts Managers, on Southern Water's Lot 1 ,Water – Non
Infra) you will be responsible for providing leadership and management oversight to projects in the
western sector. Your day to day will include:
• Accountable for successful delivery of the Lot 1 projects in your region.
• Collaborate with Kier's internal preconstruction team to develop prices, programmes and risk
allocation for submission to the client.
• Collaborate with Southern Water Capital Delivery and other key Southern Water stakeholders
including but not limited to ETS, Operations and commercial teams to facilitate agreement of
proposed target costs.
• Embed Get It Right Initiative (GIRI) practices and culture into daily, weekly and monthly
routines.
• Facilitate liaison between Operations, Commercial and Pre construction teams to ensure
attainment of overall programme.
• Ensure Kier processes for Safety, Health, Environment and Security are implemented and
targets met.
What are we looking for?
This role of Contracts Manager is great for you if:
• Demonstrable leadership skills: trusted, focused and collaborative.
• Excellent understanding of the design and construction process, interpreting client requirements
and converting them to outstanding project solutions that deliver technical, quality, budget,
programme, and sustainability targets, whilst achieving sustainable business margins.
• Track record of managing major delivery portfolios
• Have a strong knowledge of NEC contracting.
• Understanding of regulated clients, in particular those in the water industry.
