We're looking for a Degree Apprentice Planner to join our Construction team based in London working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Construction Management.  Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, 24/7 Wellbeing Support Programme, and even more https://jobs.kier.co.uk/benefits/

Location: London 

Hours: 40hrs per week 

Salary: £22,000 - with salary earning potential of £35k+ upon completion of the course! 

Start date: September 2026

How does a degree apprenticeship work? 

As a Degree Apprentice Planner, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BSc Construction Site Management with our university partner, Sheffield Hallam, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.  

 

Your day to day will include: 

  • Assisting the Planning team in developing and maintaining MEP programmes.
  • Supporting the Planning team with progress gathering and reporting and attend site progress meetings.
  • Participating in planning coordination sessions and take meeting notes/actions.
  • Working closely with MEP and construction planners, and engineers to understand key project interfaces.
  • Attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course.

To enrol onto your degree, you will need: 

  • 5 GCSE at Grade 4 or above including Maths and English
  • 2 A-Levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications (T-Level, BTEC National Certificate / Diploma / Extended Diploma Or Advanced Diploma)
  • Other Level 3 BTEC qualifications may also be considered
