We're looking for an Industrial Electrician - MEICA Reactive & Planned Works to join our MEICA delivery team based in Hatherleigh (Mobile across the South West region with potential to support wider parts of the business).

Hours: Full Time

Working as part of a multi-disciplined Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) team, you will play a key role in maintaining, upgrading and improving critical water industry assets. The role offers a varied workload combining emergency reactive works, planned maintenance and project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician seeking a rewarding career within a highly regulated industry where safety, quality and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Industrial Electrician - MEICA Reactive & Planned Works, you'll be working within the MEICA delivery team, supporting them in maintaining vital clean water and wastewater infrastructure. Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding activities on clean water, wastewater treatment and pumping station assets
- Responding to reactive breakdowns with the option for out of hours emergency callouts
- Completing electrical elements of planned maintenance and capital improvement projects
- Installing and testing motors, MCCs, control panels, instrumentation and associated equipment
- Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with company procedures
What are we looking for?
This role of Industrial Electrician - MEICA Reactive & Planned Works is great for you if:
- You hold an NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
- You have City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- You hold an ECS/JIB Gold Card or equivalent industry accreditation
- You have a Full driving licence
- You're committed to health, safety and environmental standards and work well both independently and as part of a team
