Fabric Engineer

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our MoJ Mobile South team for a 9 month fixed term contract based in the South of England.

Location: Mobile South
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 17:00 (9 month fixed term contract)

What will you be responsible for?

As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you'll be working within the MoJ Mobile South team, supporting them in delivering customer-focused, cost-effective maintenance services. Your day to day will include:

• Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance and minor repair works
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on systems and plant equipment
• Installing new plant and equipment when required
• Working safely in accordance with work instructions and method statements, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas

What are we looking for?

This role of Multi-Skilled Technician is great for you if:

• You have technical training such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• You have demonstrable experience in maintenance and repair work
• You're collaborative and enjoy building effective relationships with colleagues and clients
• You're reliable and focused, delivering what you promise with attention to detail
