Gas Technician
We're looking for a Gas Technician to join our gas contracts team based in Gosport.
Location: Gosport
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
We're seeking an experienced Gas Technician to join our dedicated team in Gosport. In this role, you'll be undertaking gas servicing, repairs, testing, installations and maintenance work across various contracts in London and surrounding areas. You'll play a vital role in delivering high quality, right first time solutions that make a real difference to our customers.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Gas Technician, you'll be working within the Gas Team, supporting them in providing cost-effective building services to the business and its customers. Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out annual gas services to appliances in accordance with manufacturers and Gas Industry Standards
- Installing and commissioning domestic appliances following industry standards and manufacturer's instructions
- Responding to daily appointments and emergency situations, ensuring all repairs are completed within target dates
- Conducting work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice
- Receiving and updating jobs using company tablets and mobile phones
What are we looking for?
This role of Gas Technician is great for you if:
- You hold relevant qualifications including NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, CCN1, CPA1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, CKR1
- You have strong knowledge of diagnostics on domestic central heating boilers, repairs, installation and servicing of gas appliances
- You're a confident communicator who can build and maintain positive working relationships
- You have a logical and methodical approach to problem solving and can plan and prioritise effectively
- You have a flexible approach to work and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
