Highways Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Highways Supervisor to join our ISC Contract team based in Birmingham. In this role you'll ensure our operational works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Location: Thimble Mill Lane, Birmingham

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + excellent benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As a Highways Supervisor, you'll be working within the ISC Contract team, supporting them in delivering high-quality highway maintenance services. Your day to day will include:

• Leading safety initiatives through site briefings, inductions and ensuring all team members understand and follow proper safety procedures
• Supervising and coordinating operational teams working on carriageway and footway repairs, winter maintenance, and planned works
• Building relationships with team members, sub-contractors, emergency services and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards and maintaining thorough documentation
• Supporting the development and wellbeing of team members in an inclusive environment

What are we looking for?

This role of Highways Supervisor is ideal if you:

• Have experience in a supervisory role within highways maintenance or similar environment
• Hold NRSWA Supervisor qualification and SSSTS/SMSTS certification
• Have practical knowledge of carriageway and footway works with a keen eye for detail
• You hold a full driving licence and enjoy a balance of site-based and administrative responsibilities
