We're looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Kier Natural Resources team based on the South Coast.

Location: South Coast - hybrid working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to partner with our Kier Natural Resources management team, providing an innovative and customer-focused HR service. You'll play a key role in driving our people plan to support business strategy, whilst embedding our wider people initiatives across the organisation. This role offers the chance to make a real impact, working collaboratively with passionate colleagues who value your expertise and insights.

What will you be responsible for?

As an HR Business Partner, you'll be working within the Kier Natural Resources team, supporting them in delivering people-focused solutions that enable business success. Your day to day will include:

  • Partnering with operational leaders to deliver the people plan and embed our people strategy
  • Managing people matters related to contract mobilisation and demobilisation activities
  • Coordinating employee relations activities and providing expert guidance on employment legislation
  • Using data and metrics to drive decision-making and identify solutions to complex people challenges
  • Championing equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the business

What are we looking for?

This role of HR Business Partner is great for you if:

  • You're degree qualified (or qualified by experience) with business partnering experience in medium to large organisations
  • You have strong relationship-building skills and can work collaboratively with senior stakeholders
  • You possess excellent communication skills and a good understanding of employment legislation
  • You're commercially aware with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach
  • You have a genuine desire to drive positive change and support people development

We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome! So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.

We're proud to be able to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs. You can see more information of benefits here.

Diversity and inclusion

Making Kier a diverse and inclusive place to work is a huge priority for us. We're proud of the steps we've taken so far, but we know we must always do more. Our employees are key in shaping Kier's diversity and inclusion initiatives and our people have made a huge impact on how we work, by using their experiences to shape our policies. You can see our D&I action plan here. As a Disability Confident employer, we will ensure that a fair and proportionate number of disabled applicants that meet the minimum criteria for this role will be offered an interview.

We look forward to seeing your application to #joinkier.
