We're looking for an Operative to join our Anglian Water Alliance team based in Norwich, Ipswich or Kings Lynn.

Location: Ipswich - Sproughton 
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

In this role, you'll be working on schemes including maintenance of existing assets, pressure management, district metering and large and complex mains repairs. You'll be part of a collaborative team that's dedicated to delivering innovative solutions whilst ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and quality.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Operative, you'll be working within the Anglian Water Alliance team, supporting them in delivering essential water infrastructure projects. Your day to day will include:

  • Taking personal responsibility for health and safety performance, overall quality of work and meeting productivity targets
  • Working and excavating on the highway to a high standard
  • Undertaking small scale civils and reinstatement works
  • Dealing with customers in a professional manner at all times
  • Communicating with the Team Leader and colleagues, updating them on progress

What are we looking for?

This role of Operative is great for you if:

  • You hold a Full driving licence
  • You hold a CSCS and EUSR Water Hygiene card
  • You have experience with working and excavating on the highway
  • You have experience with small scale civils and reinstatement
  • You hold a valid SHEA Water certificate
