We're looking for a Payroll/Time and Attendance Administrator to join our KierBAM team based in Hinkley Point C, Somerset.

Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset
Hours: 42.5 hours per week

KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall and has been a key contractor at Hinkley Point C since 2012, delivering major site preparation, earthworks, and infrastructure projects. This is a busy and varied role supporting the accurate processing of hourly paid employees' time, attendance, absences and payroll-related information. You'll work closely with HR, commercial management, works supervisors and team members to ensure records are accurate, deadlines are met and employee payroll queries are resolved effectively.

What will you be responsible for?
As a Payroll/Time and Attendance Administrator, you'll be working within the Payroll Team, supporting them in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and attendance records. Your day to day will include:

  • Entering and verifying hours, absences, shift payments and overtime for hourly paid employees
  • Supporting the calculation of wages, bonuses, travel payments and other payroll-related allowances
  • Resolving employee queries relating to timesheets, payslips, hours and absences
  • Producing attendance and absence reports and maintaining accurate employee data
  • Working closely with site supervisors to ensure records are accurate and deadlines are met

What are we looking for?
This role of Payroll/Time and Attendance Administrator is great for you if:

  • You have administrative experience in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with payroll procedures
  • You have excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling detailed information
  • You're confident working to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • You have good communication skills and enjoy liaising with a wide range of colleagues across the site
  • You have GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
