We're looking for a Personal Assistant to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) team.

Location: Flexible on Location - Frequent travel to offices and sites as required 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality PA and administrative support to the KME Business Unit Lead and wider Senior Leadership Team. You'll play a vital role in creating capacity for senior leaders by managing diaries, coordinating meetings, supporting travel and expenses, preparing documents, and ensuring day-to-day administrative activity is delivered efficiently and professionally. As a key point of contact for KME, you'll work with colleagues, clients, supply chain partners and internal stakeholders across Kier.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Personal Assistant, you'll be working within the KME Senior Leadership Team, supporting them in delivering infrastructure which is vital to the UK. Your day to day will include:

  • Managing complex diaries, prioritising meetings and ensuring leaders are well prepared for key commitments
  • Scheduling and coordinating SLT meetings, business reviews, governance sessions and client meetings, including preparing agendas and capturing minutes
  • Arranging travel, accommodation and logistics, and processing expenses and administrative approvals
  • Supporting preparation of documents, presentations, briefing notes and reports for leadership communications
  • Acting as a trusted first point of contact for internal teams, clients, suppliers and stakeholders, handling queries professionally

  • You're a proactive, forward-thinking communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • You're able to build trusted relationships and exercise tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • You're comfortable working at pace, under pressure and to deadlines with a positive approach to changing priorities
  • You're confident using Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools with strong attention to detail
