Quantity Surveyor

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Yorkshire Water Framework based in Leeds.

Location: Leeds
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our Commercial team where you'll play a key role in controlling costs, maximising value, and minimising future liabilities whilst maintaining required safety and quality standards. Working collaboratively with managers and teams across the business, you'll help us increase cost efficiency and create a high-performing environment where everyone can thrive.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering effective cost management and commercial excellence.

 Your day to day will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of integrated cost forecasts for projects
• Monitoring insurance claims and collating cost information, accurately reporting withheld, disputed or disallowed costs
• Understanding, monitoring, and reporting defined cost in accordance with the contract
• Supporting subcontract preparation and measurement of interim and final accounts
• Communicating and updating relevant managers on all commercial issues, including preparing contract correspondence and responses
