We're looking for a Planner to join our team based in Suffolk.

Location: Suffolk
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Roles are available now for tendering and planning works in Suffolk ahead of future opportunities being awarded. The role of the Project Planner is to support the successful delivery of projects and be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring project programmes, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and providing accurate data to support commercial, delivery, and risk management functions.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Planner, you'll be working within the planning team, supporting them in delivering successful projects. Your day to day will include:

  • Preparing, maintaining, and updating project programmes using Primavera P6 planning software in accordance with NEC contract requirements,
  • Monitoring progress against the Accepted Programme, producing weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPIs,
  • Providing planning input for contractual communications including Early Warnings, Compensation Events, and Programme submissions,
  • Working collaboratively with Project Managers, site teams, commercial staff, and subcontractors to provide clear planning advice and forecasting,
  • Supporting scenario planning, risk management, and recovery planning to identify opportunities and mitigate challenges.

What are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if:

  • You have experience as a Planner or Scheduler within construction, civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure,
  • You have strong working knowledge of NEC contract requirements and procedures,
  • You are proficient in P6 planning software and understand critical path, resource planning, and earned value,
  • You hold a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline,
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and enjoy building collaborative relationships.

Would you like to work with a talented and friendly team? Then we would really like to hear from you!
