Project Engineer

We're looking for a Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Lincoln On Clean Water Projects

Location: Lincoln, mixture of office/ site visits and working from home

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available upon discussion

In this role, you'll be working on the Anglian Water IOS contract (integrated operational solutions) who work across multiple disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation. Incorporating new construction, replacement or repair, spanning across the Anglian Water region.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Project Engineer, you'll ensure Clean Water projects in the Lincoln area are managed successfully from inception to completion, ensuring all required standards, regualtions, commercial affordability targets and timeframes are met. This is a fast-paced dynamic role, but one where you can add value across the business and to your career aspirations.

Your day to day will include:

• Support the operational/ project delivery manager in the delivery of Anglian Water project needs
• Assess solutions, complete root cause analysis with consideration to whole life cost and business risk reduction
• Developing solutions in line with corporate governance processes, technical/ safety standards, and legal requirement
• Ensuring all enabling; including the design, programme, cost and CDM requirements are completed ready for construction handover
• Supporting the capture of assets and cost in the relevant corporate systems

This role of Project Engineer is great for you if you hold:

• Clean Water Experience
• Temporary works coordinator/Supervisor and engineering experienced
• Experience in capital delivery within the water sector with a key focus on directly employed staff delivering projects
• Management of the Construction Design Management regulations
• Commercial awareness working with multiple stakeholders
