Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Lune Gorge project team. In this role you'll support the Lune Gorge project team in delivering commercial excellence.
Location: Nationwide – site based role, Tebay, Cumbria with some remote working available
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: - £40,000 - £45,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + benefits

What will you be responsible for?
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in managing costs, maximising value, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin through effective contract control
- Producing and submitting valuations, claims, and contract performance data
- Monitoring and forecasting financial information for your work packages
- Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
- Maximising cash flow through control, measurement, and valuation of work
What are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor could be a great fit if you:
- Hold a relevant construction-related degree
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Bring previous experience in a commercial role for a contractor, within the transportation or construction sectors
- Are comfortable using MS Office, with strong Excel skills
- Communicate clearly and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team
