Quantity Surveyor
Kier Transportation is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team on the Norfolk County Council Term Service Contract, based in Wymondham, Norfolk.
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering highway services. Your day to day will include:
- Completing accurate take-offs and producing task price lists for task orders
- Supporting the commercial management of a portfolio of projects and presenting scheme performance at gateway meetings
- Maintaining scheme cost monitors, producing month-end CVRs and monitoring costs across assigned schemes
- Using contract management software to manage and value change on allocated projects
- Collaborating with operational colleagues and clients to provide commercial advice for safe and efficient delivery
What are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor is ideal for someone who:
- Holds, or is working towards, a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Brings experience from a Quantity Surveying or related role within the construction, civil engineering, or highways sector
- Demonstrates strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Has excellent analytical and organisational abilities, with confidence managing large volumes of data and balancing competing priorities
- Holds a full driving licence and is comfortable travelling to project sites when required
