Resource Controller
We're looking for a Resource Controller to join our team based in Gosport.
Location: Gosport Office
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Resource Controller, where you'll play a vital role in optimising resources and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently to meet KPI targets. You'll be accountable for monitoring workloads, managing appointments, and helping the team meet important performance targets while ensuring all work is completed within agreed timescales.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Resource Controller, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering excellent service to our clients. Your day to day will include:
- Monitoring daily work volumes and ensuring resources are used efficiently to meet turnaround timescales
- Ensuring employees have optimal workloads and providing information on technical performance levels
- Making decisions on reallocating resources to achieve maximum efficiency and maintain KPI targets
- Liaising with managers to resolve issues relating to missed appointments or job-related problems
- Forward planning to ensure work is optimally scheduled and monitoring job completion times
What are we looking for?
This role of Resource Controller is great for you if:
- You have strong organisational skills and the ability to investigate, evaluate and respond to situations quickly
- You can make effective decisions based on objective assessment and manage multiple processes simultaneously
- You have good IT knowledge and an understanding of the construction industry, including trades, materials, processes and safety
- You communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing, and can respond to changing priorities to meet deadlines
- You're highly self-motivated with a methodical approach, able to work under pressure and maintain a courteous manner with clients and colleagues
