Senior Business Development Manager
We're looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Construction team based in North West.
Location: North West
Hours: 37.5 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to advance our business development and marketing strategies within Kier Construction. You'll be responsible for measuring and assessing market potential, identifying key areas and future trends within the construction industry, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Working closely with our Directors, you'll help shape our regional growth plans and ensure Kier remains the partner of choice across the North West.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering strategic growth across multiple offices. Your day to day will include:
- Developing and implementing business development and marketing strategies aligned with business needs
- Building and managing long-term relationships with clients, design teams, and industry stakeholders
- Leading pre-bid preparation and developing win strategies for tender opportunities
- Managing the Business Development and Marketing department, including team development and budget oversight
- Delivering customer satisfaction processes and maintaining strong client profiles throughout project lifecycles

- You have strong experience within the construction and infrastructure services sector
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships
- You have commercial awareness and can demonstrate marketing techniques requiring analysis and creative solutions
- You have proven team leadership capability with a track record of developing talent and potential in individuals and teams
