We're looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our Kier Mechanical & Electrical team based in the West Midlands.

Location: Solihull, Birmingham
Hours: Full Time, Permanent - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical engineering services across our projects. Working within Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME), our internal MEP self-delivery business, you'll be part of a collaborative team supporting regional businesses and strategic projects across sectors including custodial, education, commercial, health, and science. 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in delivering compliant, safe, and efficient electrical engineering solutions. Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring all works are procured, planned, and carried out safely in accordance with Kier standards, project requirements, and legislation
  • Reviewing designs with design teams and clients to optimise construction efficiency, safety, and compliance
  • Managing robust change control processes and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Implementing quality control procedures and maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle
  • Providing leadership and guidance to project team members, setting clear expectations and supporting their development

  • You have CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum
