Senior Project Manager

We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Rail team based in Oxford.

Location: Oxford
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be working within the Oxford Station team, taking on a pivotal leadership role at one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. As Senior Project Manager – Delivery Lead, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and control of all multi-disciplinary delivery activities at Oxford Station. You'll act as the principal delivery integrator, ensuring that mobilisation and construction activities are planned, resourced, coordinated and executed safely and efficiently. This role is central to building a high-performing, integrated delivery team and preparing the project for incorporation into wider future Oxford masterplan works.. Your day to day will include:

• Leading the day-to-day delivery of all workstreams from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring alignment with contract requirements
• Providing direct line management and leadership to Project Managers and workstream leads, fostering a one team culture
• Maintaining the contract programme and coordinating across disciplines to ensure delivery momentum
• Acting as the primary escalation point for delivery risks, constraints and interface issues
• Promoting a strong safety and environmental culture, ensuring compliance with SHEQ policies and CDM regulations

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Project Manager is great for you if:

• You hold a degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering, construction or project management discipline
• You have proven experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure works in a senior project management capacity
• You have a strong understanding of programme management, delivery sequencing and interface control
• You're a confident communicator who can lead delivery teams and engage constructively with stakeholders
• You have experience leading teams in regulated environments with strong SHEQ requirements
