Senior Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us in Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks based Warrington, Cheshire.
Location: Warrington, Cheshire
Hours: 40 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working as part of the Commercial team on United Utilities AMP8 Enterprise Framework Programme supporting them in delivery of the portfolio. This AMP is United Utilities largest to date and is made up of a large number of wastewater treatment plants upgrades due to tighter phosphorus requirements, chemical removal projects and bio-resource enhancements and more.
Your day to day will include:
- To assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group's policies for management.
- Measure works carried out and reconcile to Forecast / Target Cost.
- Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team and client. Help ensure that business targets and KPI's are exceeded.
- Provide assistance, guidance and support to the operational teams in the areas of: Contract Compliance, the financial impact; Value maximisation/cost saving techniques; Procurement strategy Management and view of cashflow to maximise cash position and ensure payments are received on time.
- Accurately monitor, forecast and report project cost and value.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NEC contract with target costs experience
- Use of Oracle and Causeway accounting systems.
