Senior Site Manager

We're looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our London and Thames Valley team based in central London.

Location: Site based, central London
Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our central London commercial project, initially focused on managing the reinforced concrete frame package, with the opportunity to develop and take on other responsibilities as the project progresses. You'll be supporting the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of projects, managing operational resources and subcontract packages to programme, budget and customer requirements.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Site Manager, you'll be working within the London and Thames Valley team, supporting them in delivering projects safely, on time, to budget and to the highest quality standards. Your day to day will include:

  • Leading and managing day-to-day construction activities on site, including procurement, installation and commissioning
  • Managing operational resources, people and physical assets to ensure projects are delivered safely and to programme
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and all stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Managing subcontract packages and supporting the delivery of sections of work across trade portfolios

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Site Manager is great for you if:

  • You hold a CSCS card and SMSTS certification
  • You have demonstrable experience in a site management role with a proven track record in construction
  • You're professionally qualified or working towards membership of a professional body such as CIOB or RICS
  • You're an excellent communicator who can influence at all levels and build strong relationships
  • You have a strong understanding of construction methods, health and safety management, and planning techniques

We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome! So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.

Our employees are key in shaping Kier's diversity and inclusion initiatives and our people have made a huge impact on how we work, by using their experiences to shape our policies.
