Senior Structural Engineer
We're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team based in Liverpool (Speke) or Norwich (Wymondham).
Location: Liverpool (Speke) or Norwich (Wymondham)
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our award-winning Structural Engineering Team as a Senior Structural Engineer with a passion for designing building structures. You'll have the opportunity to deliver excellent project services to our clients whilst mentoring more junior colleagues and acting as the lead on building structures projects. What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll be working within the Structural Engineering team, supporting them in delivering exceptional structural engineering solutions. Your day to day will include:
- Producing and checking structural design calculations, drawings, models, reports, specifications, and schedules
- Coordinating structural engineering design information with other technical disciplines including Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Building Services Engineering
- Setting and implementing structural concept design strategies whilst monitoring progress against sustainability and low carbon targets
- Acting as the lead structural designer on significant building structures design projects and representing the team at project meetings
- Mentoring other Structural Engineers and Technicians as part of our commitment to Continuing Professional Development
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Structural Engineer is great for you if:
- You hold professional qualifications such as BSc, MSc, BEng or MEng in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering, with Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
- You have knowledge of structural steelwork and reinforced concrete design to current European/British Standards, along with CDM Regulations and UK construction techniques
- You have experience designing different types of building structures within a multi-disciplinary design team environment and attending meetings with clients and construction professionals
- You're experienced in using structural design software packages such as TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Masterseries and Revit Structures
- You're collaborative, trusted and focused, with a commitment to working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to reach innovative solutions
