SHE Manager

We're looking for a SHE Manager to join our United Utilities Framework based across the North West

Location: Warrington
Hours: 45 - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our team as a SHE Manager and play a vital role in leading and implementing safety, health, and environmental strategies across our projects. You'll be championing a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a safe and sustainable working environment. What will you be responsible for?

As a SHE Manager, you'll be working to promote safety, health, and environmental excellence across all our projects.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining SHE policies and management systems in line with regulatory standards
• Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards
• Providing expert advice and support to project teams, contractors, and senior management
• Leading investigations into incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
• Delivering training programmes and awareness campaigns to foster a proactive safety culture

What are we looking for?

This role of SHE Manager is great for you if:

• You have experience in health, safety, and environmental management within construction, utilities or infrastructure
• You hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent SHE qualification
• You have in-depth knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation
• You possess strong incident investigation and root cause analysis skills
• You hold a Full driving licence and are willing to travel to project sites as required
