SHE Manager
We're looking for a SHE Manager to join our United Utilities Framework based across the North West
Location: Warrington
Hours: 45 - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Join our team as a SHE Manager and play a vital role in leading and implementing safety, health, and environmental strategies across our projects. You'll be championing a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maintain a safe and sustainable working environment. This is an opportunity to make a real difference, using your expertise to protect our people and the communities we serve.
What will you be responsible for?
As a SHE Manager, you'll be working to promote safety, health, and environmental excellence across all our projects.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining SHE policies and management systems in line with regulatory standards
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards
- Providing expert advice and support to project teams, contractors, and senior management
- Leading investigations into incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Delivering training programmes and awareness campaigns to foster a proactive safety culture
What are we looking for?
This role of SHE Manager is great for you if:
- You have experience in health, safety, and environmental management within construction, utilities or infrastructure
- You hold a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent SHE qualification
- You have in-depth knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation
- You possess strong incident investigation and root cause analysis skills
- You hold a Full driving licence and are willing to travel to project sites as required
