Site Agent
We're looking for a Site Agent to join our Severn Trent Framework based in Wanlip.
Location: Wanlip
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
As a Site Agent, you'll be at the heart of our construction operations, managing site activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You'll be the key point of contact between site teams, project managers, clients, and regulatory bodies, playing a vital role in maintaining high-quality standards and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Agent, you'll be working within the construction team, supporting them in delivering exceptional projects to our customers.
Your day to day will include:
- Overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Managing site resources, including monthly costs for labour, materials, and equipment to optimise efficiency
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations through regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, permits, and health and safety documentation
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Agent is great for you if:
- You have experience in a Site Agent or similar role with a strong understanding of site management and project delivery
- You can read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts accurately
- You have excellent leadership skills to manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources effectively
- You possess in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
- You hold a Full driving licence and are willing to travel to various construction sites
