Site Engineer
We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework
Location: North West England
Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
We're excited to welcome a Site Engineer who will provide essential technical support to our team. In this role, you'll be ensuring works are delivered to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements whilst working collaboratively with the wider site team.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Engineer, you'll be working within the site team, supporting them in delivering projects safely and efficiently.
Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out setting out, surveying, and checking works against design drawings and specifications
- Supporting the coordination and planning of site works, ensuring technical queries are resolved promptly
- Maintaining site records including daily diaries, as-built information, and inspection and test plans
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members to ensure timely delivery
- Promoting health, safety, and environmental policies whilst ensuring compliance with site regulations
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Engineer is great for you if:
- You hold a degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- You have previous experience in a site-based engineering role
- You're proficient in using setting out and surveying equipment
- You have a strong understanding of technical drawings and construction processes
- You hold a CSCS card and Full driving licence
