Site Manager
We're looking for a Site Manager to join our Secure Environments team based in Salisbury.
Location: Salisbury
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Kier Places is recruiting now for a Site Manager in Salisbury to join our Secure Environments team delivering projects across the UK Defence portfolio. Your role will be key to ensuring projects are safely delivered on time and to budget whilst achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction. We are building a new team to deliver multiple projects within one secure facility, with a strong focus on detail.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Manager, you'll be working within the Secure Environments team, supporting them in delivering multiple projects across the UK Defence portfolio. Your day to day will include:
- Managing the site and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality
- Implementing and managing health and safety procedures including weekly audits, risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Controlling and monitoring resources including sub-contractors to maximise efficiency and minimise costs
- Maintaining comprehensive site records including reports, daily diaries, progress photographs and health and safety documentation
- Supporting team development through guidance, training and performance reviews
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Manager is great for you if:
- You hold a Full driving licence
- You have demonstrable site management experience with a proven track record in successfully managing projects
- You possess strong leadership skills with the ability to support and develop your team
- You are commercially aware with excellent organisational and communication skills
- You are a UK British Passport Holder
