We're looking for a M&R Supervisor to join our team based in Weatherhill.

Location: Weatherhill, RH6 9JE
Hours: 45 hours per week working nights

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide first level supervision of both internal and external operations, overseeing the day-to-day functions of routine maintenance, response functions and small works schemes. You'll work closely with all teams to ensure operational effectiveness for severe weather service, cyclical and reactive maintenance tasks and emergency response, whilst ensuring delivery is carried out to achieve programme and budgetary requirements.

What will you be responsible for?

As a M&R Supervisor, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering high-quality maintenance and operational services. Your day to day will include:

  • Supporting the Area Manager in programming, managing and delivering routine, reactive and severe weather services
  • Daily allocation and supervision of works and resources to ensure compliance with programmes and maintenance requirements
  • Assisting in emergency response, organizing remedial repairs and coordinating with the hub to restore highways
  • Undertaking site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks, maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with clients, members of the public and key stakeholders including emergency services as required

What are we looking for?

This role of M&R Supervisor is great for you if:

  • You have demonstrable experience in supervising operations and managing teams effectively
  • You possess strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate resources and meet deadlines
  • You have a proven background in maintenance, highways or related operational environments
  • You can actively promote health and safety in the workplace and ensure compliance
  • You're a natural communicator who can build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
