Supervisor
We're looking for a Site Supervisor to join our Wymondham, Norfolk team based in Wymondham.
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk – site based 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 per week (0730 – 1700)

Join us as a Site Supervisor where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and safe delivery of civil engineering projects. You'll be directing multiple teams to execute specialist tasks including footway reconstruction, carriageway resurfacing, drainage improvements, traffic signals and structures repairs. This is a rewarding opportunity to combine your technical expertise with excellent leadership skills whilst promoting a human-focused approach to safety.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Supervisor, you'll be working within the Wymondham team, supporting them in delivering highway and construction operations. Your day to day will include:
- Supervising and coordinating site-based operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, to specification, and within budget
- Managing daily site operations to maintain safety for both operatives and the public
- Performing point-of-work risk assessments and ensuring adherence to safe working procedures
- Conducting regular toolbox talks and briefings with operatives regarding permit conditions and safe digging procedures
- Providing guidance, technical support, and training to colleagues whilst ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Supervisor is great if you:
- Hold NRSWA Operative/Supervisor certification and take pride in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
- Are a qualified First Aider with a full driving licence and enjoy being hands-on in the field
- Have achieved SSSTS or SMSTS certification and are confident leading site teams
- Bring strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide, motivate and support colleagues effectively
- Are organised, proactive and solutions-focused, with practical experience in kerbing, paving, drainage or excavation works
