Transport & Logistics Manager
We're looking for a Transport & Logistics Manager to join our Transportation Norfolk team based in Wymondham, Norfolk. This is a great opportunity to take responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient management of transport and logistics operations across our Norfolk contract.
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk

What will you be responsible for?
As a Transport & Logistics Manager, you'll be managing a large and diverse fleet operation, ensuring we meet our contractual obligations, maintain regulatory compliance and deliver excellent customer satisfaction. Your day to day will include:
- Overseeing compliance with Operator Licencing and regulatory requirements, including both EU drivers' hours and GB Domestic Rules
- Managing day-to-day transport and logistics activities, optimising vehicle deployment, routing and scheduling
- Maintaining FORS accreditation and driving continuous improvement across fleet operations
- Building positive relationships with customers, clients and stakeholders whilst supporting key contract performance indicators
- Leading operational planning during seasonal peaks and emergency response activities, including 24/7 operational support
What are we looking for?
This Transport & Logistics Manager role could be a great fit if you:
- Hold a Transport Manager HGV Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and a full UK driving licence
- Bring proven experience in transport management, fleet operations, logistics management, or vehicle compliance
- Have a strong understanding of Operator Licence requirements, transport legislation, and FORS accreditation standards
- Demonstrate expertise in managing transport compliance, fleet performance, driver standards, and operational efficiency
- Excel at building positive relationships with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and operational teams, delivering high levels of service and collaboration
