Cleaner

We're looking for a Cleaner to join our Bexleyheath Academy team based in Woolwich Road.

Location: Woolwich Road, Bexleyheath
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00

What will you be responsible for?

As a Cleaner, you'll be working within the Cleaning Supervisor team, supporting them in maintaining exceptional standards across the academy. Your day to day will include:

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors across classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal spaces
• Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and refilling supplies
• Dusting surfaces and high-touch points such as door handles, light switches, and desks
• Emptying waste bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste
• Responding promptly to spills and assisting with deep cleaning tasks when required

What are we looking for?

This role of Cleaner is great for you if:

• You have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office, or commercial building
• You understand health and safety requirements, including COSHH regulations and the safe use of cleaning equipment
• You can work independently and take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness
• You're reliable, organised, and able to follow cleaning schedules and procedures
