We're looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our Facilities Management team based in Basingstoke.

Location: Basingstoke Centenary House 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday)

As a Commercial Administrator within Kier Places, you'll play a vital role in our Government contracts, collaborating with operational and finance teams to provide accurate costings to clients. You'll be part of one of the UK's leading facilities management companies, where our specialist teams deliver innovative management and maintenance solutions across the UK.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Commercial Administrator, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team, supporting them in delivering exceptional client service through effective administration and commercial processes. Your day to day will include:

  • Managing your workload of work orders, prioritising tasks to meet SLAs and KPIs
  • Reviewing subcontractor costs and documents to ensure transparency and value for money
  • Building strong relationships through regular communication with contract managers, helpdesk, and clients
  • Pricing work orders accurately with all required supporting documentation
  • Resolving client auditor queries in a timely manner

This role of Commercial Administrator is great for you if:

  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You're able to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with different teams
  • You can manage your own workload and prioritise tasks effectively
  • You're comfortable working towards individual performance targets
  • You have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
