Mechanical Supervisor

We're looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our Severn Trent Framework based in Wanlip.

Location: Wanlip, Leicestershire
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the on-site delivery of mechanical works, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. This is an opportunity to coordinate installations, work with brilliant teams, and make a real impact on essential infrastructure projects.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you'll be working within the Severn Trent AMP 8 team, supporting them in delivering high-quality mechanical installations on critical infrastructure projects.

Your day to day will include:

• Supervising and coordinating on-site mechanical installations to required specifications and quality standards
• Liaising with project engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure efficient sequencing and timely progress
• Monitoring health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations and company procedures
• Conducting site inspections, snagging, and testing to ensure installations meet required standards before handover
• Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reporting, material deliveries, and workforce logs

What are we looking for?

This role of Mechanical Supervisor is great for you if:

• You hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• You have experience supervising mechanical works within the relevant industry
• You have a good understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumping stations, pipework, and plant installation
• You possess strong working knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards on construction sites
• You hold a Full driving licence and have flexibility to work across various sites
