Mechanical Supervisor
We're looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our Severn Trent Framework based in Wanlip.
Location: Wanlip, Leicestershire
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join us at Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure service providers, as we deliver the Wanlip Sewage Treatment Works upgrade as part of Severn Trent's AMP 8 programme. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in overseeing the on-site delivery of mechanical works, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. This is an opportunity to coordinate installations, work with brilliant teams, and make a real impact on essential infrastructure projects.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you'll be working within the Severn Trent AMP 8 team, supporting them in delivering high-quality mechanical installations on critical infrastructure projects.
Your day to day will include:
- Supervising and coordinating on-site mechanical installations to required specifications and quality standards
- Liaising with project engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure efficient sequencing and timely progress
- Monitoring health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to regulations and company procedures
- Conducting site inspections, snagging, and testing to ensure installations meet required standards before handover
- Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reporting, material deliveries, and workforce logs
What are we looking for?
This role of Mechanical Supervisor is great for you if:
- You hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
- You have experience supervising mechanical works within the relevant industry
- You have a good understanding of mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumping stations, pipework, and plant installation
- You possess strong working knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards on construction sites
- You hold a Full driving licence and have flexibility to work across various sites
