We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join our Ministry of Justice contract based in the South of England.

Location: Mobile South
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 17:00

Join our team as a Multi-Skilled Operative and play a vital role in delivering exceptional maintenance services. You'll be working across various sites, ensuring facilities are well-maintained and operating efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your technical skills while contributing to a service that makes a real difference to the communities we support.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you'll be working within the MoJ Mobile South team, supporting them in delivering customer-focused and cost-effective maintenance services. Your day to day will include:

  • Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance and minor repair works
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on systems and plant equipment
  • Installing new plant and equipment when required
  • Working safely in accordance with work instructions and method statements, completing all paperwork accurately and on time
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas

What are we looking for?

This role of Multi-Skilled Operative is great for you if:

  • You hold technical training qualifications (NVQ3 or equivalent)
  • You have demonstrable experience in maintenance services
  • You're collaborative and enjoy building effective relationships with colleagues and clients
  • You're thorough and disciplined in your approach to work
  • You're committed to working safely and care about the wellbeing of yourself and others
