Quantity Surveyor
We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our United Utilities Framework based in Warrington.
Location: Warrington - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our commercial team as we mobilise and deliver an ambitious programme for United Utilities. You'll be working on diverse projects including wastewater treatment plants, chemical removal schemes, bio-resource enhancements, reservoir compliance projects and bathing water initiatives. What will you be responsible for?
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Commercial team, supporting them in delivering cost efficiency and maximising value across the programme.
Your day to day will include:
- Preparing integrated cost forecasts and financial reports for projects
- Supporting subcontract measurement, interim and final accounts
- Monitoring actual costs and ensuring accurate cost base capture
- Analysing cost efficiency and reporting on scheme profitability
- Assisting with cash flow forecasts and payment monitoring
What are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- You are qualified as a Quantity Surveyor and have excellent numerical and IT skills, particularly in Excel
- You have worked within the utilities/ construction industry previously
- You have strong attention to detail and can work to deadlines
- You're a collaborative team player who enjoys building relationships
