We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Regional Construction team based in Leeds.

Location: Leeds
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our dynamic Regional Construction team in Leeds, where we deliver exciting projects ranging from £10M to £80M across education, healthcare, leisure, and government sectors. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the commercial success of our projects from tender through to completion, working collaboratively with talented teams to deliver exceptional results.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Regional Construction team, supporting them in managing and enhancing the commercial performance of projects. Your day to day will include:

  • Advising on the financial viability of projects at early stages and during tender processes
  • Organising procurement strategies and assessing returns from sub-contractors to achieve best value
  • Negotiating with our supply chain to secure optimal commercial outcomes
  • Monitoring project expenditure against budgets through detailed Cost Value Reconciliation Reports
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide commercial expertise and guidance

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • You have experience working on large two-stage bids and high-value construction projects
  • You possess expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions
  • You have a strong understanding of procurement and sub-contractor management
  • You're confident in creating detailed commercial reports for senior stakeholders
  • You hold a relevant degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Valid full Driving License
