Talent Acquisition Advisor - 6 month FTC

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our award-winning Talent Acquisition team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting our Infrastructure Environment business.

Location: Can operate from any of our UK offices - Flexible with occasional meetings in Rushden, Northamptonshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This role will support the Talent Acquisition Business Partner by co-ordinating the recruitment process to fulfil business requirements, ensuring candidates and hiring managers receive a positive experience. You'll be at the heart of connecting talented people with meaningful opportunities at Kier, helping us build diverse teams who deliver outstanding results for our clients and customers.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you'll be working within the Talent Acquisition team, supporting them in delivering an excellent recruitment experience. Your day to day will include:

  • Co-ordinating the recruitment process including writing and posting adverts, arranging interviews and reviewing offer details
  • Sourcing candidates and talent pooling from Kier Recruit and job boards, providing timely candidate shortlists
  • Screening candidates by phone to ensure suitability for vacancies
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and other HR teams
  • Acting as a positive brand ambassador for Kier, promoting our employee value proposition

What are we looking for?

This role of Talent Acquisition Advisor is great for you if:

  • You have experience within a recruitment environment, whether internal or agency
  • You can directly source candidates using a variety of attraction methods
  • You have a good understanding of employment law as it relates to recruitment and selection
  • You're highly organised with the ability to work on your own initiative, under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • You're a confident user of MS Office, especially MS Excel, candidate tracking systems and social media tools
