Social Value Coordinator
We're looking for a Social Value Coordinator to join our Construction team based in Llandrindod, Powys.
Location: Llandrindod, Powys
Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across pre-construction and construction to plan, deliver and report on social value activities. You'll be working with site teams, supply chain partners, clients and local stakeholders to ensure social value activities are targeted and effective. As an ambassador for social value and sustainability, you'll play a key role in raising the profile of these important areas across the business.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Social Value Coordinator, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in delivering social value activities and contributing to our Building for a Sustainable World strategy. Your day to day will include:
- Collecting and collating social value data from site teams and supply chain, uploading to trackers and platforms
- Creating reports and case studies that showcase achievement against key performance indicators
- Building strong relationships with site teams, supply chain, clients and local stakeholders
- Supporting the organisation and delivery of social value initiatives, community volunteering events and promotional ceremonies
- Contributing to internal and external communications to promote the importance of social value across the business
What are we looking for?
This role of Social Value Coordinator is great for you if:
- You have demonstrable data analysis, reporting and critical thinking skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel
- You're an excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills and keen attention to detail
- You have experience of liaising with cross discipline teams, clients and external bodies and organisations
- You're able to travel to and between sites and external events, work to tight deadlines and manage your own workload
- You have a desire to learn and continuously develop, with an ability to identify more effective solutions
