Social Value Coordinator

We're looking for a Social Value Coordinator to join our HMP Glasgow team based in Glasgow on Fixed Term Contract for 24 Months. 

Location: HMP Glasgow, Hybrid working with need to be on site and in 3rd party locations regularly  Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in delivering meaningful social value across a significant construction project. As a Social Value Coordinator, you'll help ensure commitments are met and evidenced, working collaboratively with site teams, partners, and local communities to create positive impact.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Social Value Coordinator, you'll be working within the Social Value team, supporting them in delivering and coordinating social value activity across the project. Your day to day will include:

  • Coordinating social value activities across the project, including community events, site visits, and engagement sessions
  • Collecting, recording, and maintaining accurate data on all social value activities and supporting reporting against client KPIs
  • Working with subcontractors to promote and track their social value contributions, ensuring they understand project requirements
  • Maintaining evidence logs, case studies, and audit-ready documentation
  • Supporting the promotion of social value success stories and drafting content for newsletters, reports, and social media

What are we looking for?

This role of Social Value Coordinator is great for you if:

  • You have experience in a coordination, community engagement, or project support role
  • You possess strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • You have experience of stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • You can collect and manage data accurately for reporting purposes and are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Hold a current driving license
